The Festival will feature discussions on stage around finances and funding, SSDAB, Ofcom and Compliance, diversity and inclusion and the future of local radio as well as inspiring stories of volunteers who’ve found a career in the wider industry and so much more.

TAKE PART - We also want to invite you and your volunteers to showcase your stations incredible success stories during our event.

You'll be able to take to the stage as part of a series of 5-minute presentations throughout the day.

It’s a chance for you to share your station's achievements and the impact you've had on the community. You may want to tell us about a successful project you’ve run, a special radio show or an outstanding local event you’ve been part of. How about bringing along some young people you’ve trained or perhaps feature a volunteer who’s done something incredible.

Whatever it is, we want you to display your work on the Community Media Festival stage!

We'll have room for 12 organisations to take part so please register your interest now by email. Contact our council member Jason Rosam - jason@communtymedia.uk

Let's make this year's Community Media Festival in Leicester an unforgettable celebration of community radio and the amazing work you do! More details of sessions and speakers will be announced soon.
