AGM and Networking Event at BBC Birmingham

BBC Birmingham at The Mailbox will be the venue for the CMA's 2023 AGM and networking event on Saturday 29th April.

The Community Media Association visits BBC Birmingham at The Mailbox for our Annual General Meeting and Networking Event 2023.

Attendance is limited to two members per organisation due to space and security constraints. If you are not able to attend you will be able to join the event virtually on the day.

DIRECTIONS TO BBC BIRMINGHAM

By Car

If driving please use the main Mailbox public pay-and-park car park. Once parked, take the Central Lifts to level three. Turn right out of the lift and continue around the corner- the BBC Birmingham building will be on your left.

Enter the postcode B1 1RD or street name Royal Mail Street for main access to The Mailbox car park.

By Train

The nearest railway station to The Mailbox is Birmingham New Street. In New Street station, follow the signs towards the Victoria Square exit. Go up the slight ramp (with Boots to your left) and follow round to the left past Delice de France. Continue straight ahead, passing the Local Travel Information office on your left, and take one of the exits at the far end of the walkway labelled Victoria Square and taxis. Take a slight left onto Navigation Street that has painted coloured lines on the pavement. Walking down Navigation Street, continue over the pedestrian crossing at the junction with Hill Street.

Continue down Navigation Street, passing Sainsbury’s Local on your left, and walk under the Suffolk Street Queensway road bridge, continuing to follow the painted lines on the pavement. Mailbox Square is directly in front of you once you walk under the road bridge. Use the main entrance, taking the escalators to Level 3. BBC Birmingham will be on your left. This walk should take approximately five minutes.
